Self-acclaimed activist Gani Adams asked Finland-based IPOB leader, Simon Ekpa to be careful as South-West is not Biafra, adding that Ekpa’s Biafra agenda will not be entertained in Yoruba land.

The Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Gani Adams, has warned the factional leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Simon Ekpa not to make the mistake that led to the civil war in the country in the sixties.
This is as he cautioned Ekpa against plans to stage a sit-at-home protest in Lagos State, and warned him to desist from any action that could cause unrest and breach of public peace in the south-western part of the country.
Reports in the media had quoted Ekpa as suggesting in a tweet on Wednesday of plans by IPOB to replicate the protest in Lagos.
However, Aare Gani Adams, in an interview, said such an attempt will be vehemently opposed noting that the South-West region is not Biafra Republic. He also cautioned the Finland-based IPOB leader to refrain from repeating the mistake that led to the civil war and drop the move, which he described as counterproductive.
